Does my child get to keep the rockets and robots built in camp?
Campers get to keep the rockets they build. Campers get to keep the robots they build from kits. Campers do NOT get to keep the robots they build with the EV3 materials.
If I submit a payment, my child is guaranteed a spot in camp, right?
Not necessarily. When we receive payments for the maximum number of campers, the camp is FULL. We update the website as quickly as possible, but if the maximum number of registrations is received at 1:05pm, the camp is full… even if you submit your payment at 1:06pm. Please call before you submit a payment, so we can let you know if there is still space available.
Is the camp deposit an additional charge?
No, the deposit is not an additional charge. We require a deposit because we have had people register for a camp and then no-show. The deposit is applied toward the fee balance, so if you register for a $200 camp and you pay the $50 deposit, you only owe an additional $150 for the remaining camp fee.
My child doesn’t attend a Richland One school. Can they still attend a Challenger summer camp?
